Ukraine info
Those coming from Ukraine can stay in Finland visa-free for 3 months, apply for temporary protection or asylum.
A person with temporary protection has a full right to work and is also entitled to labor services. The person can register at the TE services as a jobseeker for the service process to begin.
At TE services, the customer is guided according to her competence, service needs and own wishes, e.g.
- Initial assessment
- Integration plan
- Integration education
- Employment service
- Information and advice
- Competence and vocational competence assessment
However, a person who has received temporary protection cannot get a municipal place and thus the municipality’s services are not available and the person must use the services through the Reception Center (e.g. in health care).
